I heard apple cider vinegar aids in losing weight along with exercise. Is this true? And has anyone had any results with it.

My mom started using apple cider vinegar about a yr ago off and on. She was able to lose 65 lbs with acv, exercise and diet. It really does work and the first thing to go was her belly. I heard on Health Watch that vinegar was good for diabetes also, which my mom does have.

Out of curiousity..was it tablets or actual spoonfuls of vinegar? Doesn't that taste awful?!

I pour like a tablespoon in with orange juice and you can't taste it.

I think the stuff tastes good, but I think all the health aspects attributed to it are just good advertising for the orchard owners. Not much proof of the old wives tales.
It's really good on a salad with a flavorful olive oil though. And it's INCREDIBLY cheap...I paid about $2.99 for a GALLON.
If you want to try it, fill a shot glass half full, and add an equal amount of cold water and a half tsp. of sugar or some artificial sweetner...and down the hatch. Rinse your mouth afterwards, the stuff will dissolve tooth enamel.
