When my colon is in an uproar all the muscles in my body ache, my chest will hurt sometimes, and I am fatigued. Does anyone else have these problems? What other symptoms can I expect?

Hi Shannon,

I am dealing with some of your symptoms today. My colon went spastic, and then all my muscles started to spasm also - mostly my leg muscles, buttocks and lower body. I have fibromyalgia, and struggle with trigger points also.
I think its the trigger points that start acting up when the colon goes into spasm. Try touching various areas of your muscles when this happens, and if you find hard areas, like little balls under the muscle, then you have trigger points. You need to massage them and push on them to get them to release and relax. Medicine won't help this condition. I noticed you said you had fatigue too, well that goes with fibromyalgia also.
Perhaps you should see a rheumatologist who is the only type of doctor who can definately diagnosis this condition.
