I get a few ingrown hairs down there every now and then. Is there a way to help prevent them?

there are a few things that i have tried that work very well.

exfoliating the area will help prevent ingrown hairs. if you shave, swipe some unscented deoderant over the area after shaving. also, mixing a few aspirin tablets with some water and swiping that over the area will help reduce redness and inflammation.
