My husband has been taking this drug for 1 month. His neuropathy is 90% BETTER. However lately he has had nausea and blurred vision. The doctor told him that his body has to adjusted to the meds and to cut back for a week and then up it again. Anyone else having these problems and do they improve? I might add he has tryed everything else, and could not deal with the side effects. I hoping the doctor is right for the last seven days he has been able to take walks and been able to go to a mall without the aid of a wheelchair.

How is it going now with the Lyrica? Did you have to stop it, or did the side effects subside? Has it helped long-term?

My husband had to stop taking the medication. However that is improvement. He has been off the medication for 2 weeks now. He feels alot better, and he has had only three bad flare ups. We are keeping our fingers cross that the neuropathy has been "shut down".

Do you think the Lyrica "shut down" the neuropathy?

Thats what the doctor said. His neuropathy was caused from chemo. I'm happy to say that he has been cancer free for 2 years.

That does sound like neuropathy. That's the kind of thing Lyrica is supposed to be good for. Perhaps you could ask your doctor about doing a trial on Lyrica?
