Hey! I was on here not too long ago and posted about this - but now it's different.
I remember awhile back it being difficult to get my tampons out - why? Because There was a circle of skin at/inside my vaginal opening and the tampon would sometimes get stuck around it. Me and my boyfriend were having sex one day and I had a sharp pain in my lower abd. area. I started bleeding a little bit..it was like he pushed or hit something that he wasn't suppose to hit. ?? I dont know really..
Well, after that night..I noticed a little bit of skin coming OUT of my vaginal opening. It wasn't inside anymore... I noticed that the skin looked like the circle that my tampon use to get stuck in. It never bothered me--it was just there. But sometimes it was like that skin was blocking my opening for him to push inside of me...
Last night we were having sex, and when we were finished he took his condom off to throw it away. And he noticed blood on it. :( That little circle ripped and now it is just one piece of skin... what could this be??? Someone told me it could be my hymen BUT I lost my virginity 5 years ago.. why would it just NOW be showing?? I am soo confused. I made a doctors appointment to get examined..but I wanted some opinions. ALSO..I had a Pap done Dec 5th and the nurse just called me two days ago and said it came up 'abnormal' and that I would need to come in April to get examined again. Why in April?? I would think she would want me to come in a little bit sooner?? But I made a new app. with a diff. doctor to see what is going on. Because I questioned my other doc. about this skin (when it was a circle) not too long ago and she said everything looked normal down there... ahh I am lost. Please feel free to give your opinion THANK YOU SO MUCH :)

I am not sure what your skin thing is that is going on :confused: , but to answer your question about your doctor not wanting to check you again until April, it is the normal waiting period for a abnormal pap smear. If there really is a problem, your next one in 6 months will show it better. Your new doctor will tell you the same thing, but you were right in getting a second opinion if you weren't happy with the first!
