I have had this for almost 4 yrs, painful, but what can ya do? I had an EMG done on Dec 29th, I have been in braces since I broke my wrist at work lifting something (I'm a dispatcher), I've been in braces since the break in july and out of work. I go Jan 3rd to the Ortho, he said he knew what I had but for ins. purposes we needed the EMG. RESULTS It is very bad in the left wrist(broken in july) only starting in the right wrist. My right one is my dominant hand, I think I hurt it compunsating for the left, however they have both hurt for years. Before the EMG the Ortho said I needed surgery on both, will he in your opnion still do both seeing as the right hand is the one I need the most--but it was more normal, only the starts. I have seizures and it would be so good to have both done at once, I have enough to deal with and would like the braces off. What do you's think?
