Hi anyone and everyone,
The last time that I went to my gynecologist for my annual exam, he said that my bladder had dropped a lot since the last year! He sounded very concerned about it. I told him that I did not think that I was ready for a hysterectomy, and he said there were other things that could be done for this problem. Since then, it has started to bother me more. In a matter of 3 months.
Please help with any answers, stories or procedures beside hysterectomies that you have experience with concerning a very low bladder. It is creating more back ache and some leakage. I also have low abdominal pain on both sides, but that could be due to ovarian cysts or some other female problem. My last vaginal ultrasound showed nothing wrong, except that my ovaries could not be seen. My bowels were too large and in the way, to see them. I might have another vag. ultra. in January, but will probably have to take gas-x or partially empty my bowels?!
My doctor and I did not discuss this any further because at the time, I was having breast problems. My diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound have since cleared this up. I am fine in my breasts.
Please answer and give me any information you have available.
Thanks in advance.
Take care.

I know women who've had this problem but they just tacked the bladder back up without a hysterectomy. Did you ask about that?

I have heard the same... of women that have the same problem but only have surgery to tack the bladder back into place. Not a full hysto? I guess I am confused as to why they would take out your uterus because your bladder is dropping?
