I started on lyrica when it first came out and at first I thought that it was great. I guess it just takes awhile before all the side effects show. I have had weight gain and a dry mouth. I have also been noticing that my vision is off. It takes my eyes longer to focus. Another problem is that my hair has gotten very dry and it is falling out. :eek: That was the last straw. I am gradually decreasing my dosage and saying enough is enough with it.

I recently started taking lyrica back east before coming to AZ for winter. I was taking Zonegran for over five years. I didn't realize how the Zonegran didn't work until using the lyrica for about a week. You might be better off with Zonegran. Good luck :)
