MY HUSBAND HAD AN ATTACK WITH A KIDNEY STONE ABOUT A WEEK AND A HALF AGO. THIS WAS THE 4TH TIME HE HAS HAD THIS TO HAPPEN.
IT HAD THE TUBE BLOCKED AND DR. SAID IT WOULD DAMAGE HIS KIDNEY. SO THEY PUT A STENT IN. IT COMES OUT IN 3 MORE DAYS. HE HAS BEEN IN REALLY BAD PAIN . NOT JUST FROM THE STONE BUT THE STENT TOO.
HE HAS FELT SO BAD SINCE THIS HAPPENED. HE CAN BARELY USE THE BATHROOM BECAUSE OF THE PAIN, AND STILL BLEEDS SOME.
HE IS ON HIS SECOND ROUND OF ANTIBIOTICS BECAUSE HE WAS RUNNING A SMALL FEVER. THEY WERE AFRAID IT MIGHT HAVE BECAME INFECTED.
HAS ANYONE EVER EXPERIENCED ANY OF THIS? IF SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS IS NORMAL. :angel:

I had a stent for 7 very LOOOOOOONG weeks. I had several ER visits and had to take pain meds daily. So yes what he is dealing with is normal. My doctor didn't tell me about the discomfort that would happen with the stent until after several phone calls and er visits. Good luck
