I recently had my yearly gyno exam the beginning of December. Every thing was ok no abnormalities in any of my exams. But for 2 days now I have noticed a light green discharge from my vagina. There is no itching , no burning, no pain during urination And there is no strange smell. What could be the problem? I still get the regular discharge the clearish to light colored stuff. But the green came out once yesterday and once today. It has a mucos consistancy. Getting a bit worried cause I dont know what it is.
Anyone got any advice or info?
thanks

Thats how mine started off now I am in extreme pain with lots more problems. I am having tests done for PID and Endo. You need to go to a doctor and have some swabs and tests done.

I had the same thing once, as was told it was thrush.

Thanks for your replies, correct me if im wrong, but thrush, isnt that only in the mouth? And in the vagina would be a yeast infection?

Thrush is a yeast infection. You can get in in the vagina and in your mouth. You should have a swab to ckeck for infection. Was it clumpy and green? That's what mine was like. Either way, you should get another swab.

It was sticky like mucous that is in our nose, it was like a small strand not like a wet discharge. It was just those 2 times, either way im still going to talk to my Gyno about it. It freaked me out.

I talked to my gyno about the episodes of mucos discharge. His nurse said that since I was just in the beginning of the month I dont need to come in unless i get more symptoms such as itching , burning or a foul smell. I asked her if she was sure and she said yes... oh well I guess I will wait and see if another symptom magically appears :p

Thing is, you don't necesserliy have to have other syptoms to have BV or thrush or anything else. Infections can be symptomless. I'd get a 2nd opinion.
