Traumatized,
I was in a lot of pain last night (Saturday) and when I got up I wasn't much pain. I am still feeling the pain few times, but not like last night. Do you think the pain will come back or it just getting a break with my pain? I am usually a lot of pain during evening time since I move a lot at work by walking back and forward, up and down the stairs. I was like this morning and I might be in pain little while. I put a new dry socket treatment pack and my hole started to bleed from my gum. I think there is a cut on my gum next to the hole.
When I go see my oral surgeon on Tuesday, I will let him knows that I am still having jaw pain and my right still hurting.
My left side is fine when I had my widsom teeth out. It just that one hole on the right side having a problem.
Let me know what I should be doing to get rid of the pain during the evening time. I have no control at daytime because I always moving.
thanks,

My jaw is not hurting much now when I was moving it. Do you think it might comes back later during the evening when I have hard time? I hope not, but it can happen.

Hi there,
Patience is a virtue...
Pain from a dry socket wont disappear overnight. I am a poor healer and had a gnawing ache for months and mainly when lying down or moving around a lot because of blood circulation. Mention it to your oral surgeon...it won't hurt to ask about it. Having it x-rayed wont hurt either and if it helps you feel better about it, then why not. It may just show that it is healing slowly or that there is an infection etc... Are you taking any pain killers? If it is TMJ it may be getting worse at night if you have bruxism. Just a thought. Ask your OS to check your bite and teeth for bruxism.
Gotta run,
Take care and RELAX

I was taking pain killer medcine, but not now. It hurts few times today by moving a lot and the cold air in the store. I also didn't have any pinching pain either. It didn't hurt much last night. I don't know if it will come back for more pain at nights or unless I am getting better.
I can ask my OS if I should have x-ray to see what going on.
