Hi, i'm a 20 year old male, ive always had stomach problems and about 2 year ago i finally had some tests only to reveal a hietal hernia. I took protonix and it helped a lot, then the problem came back and ive been taking the same 40 miligrams etc... and it doesn't seem to be doing enough, especially recently. I wake up everydady in horrible pain, i have to visit the bathroom and after bowel movement feel a little better, only to have the feeling return within a half hour and having to return to the bathroom. My stomach feels almost like tis being poisioned, ive always had a lot of yellow bile etc.. when i had the problem before but now i don't know what can be the problem. It's gotten to the point of making me depressed long term and interfering with my life. I have no appetite and can hardly ever eat.

Any thoughts on a different problem I could have ??? anything would be appreciated.

when was the last time you were at the doctors? maybe the protonix isn't working for you? do you take any kind of fiber supplement to get your bowel habits back to normal?

no i don't take any fiber or anything, any recomendations on eating, adding fiber etc... my doctor hasn't given me any suggestions except don't eat the obviously bad stuff or it will hurt.
