Hi! I need a referral on a spectacular surgeon in California. I had a Dr. in Corona mess up my face about threeyears ago and need to get it fixed. Wrinkles under eyes are the problem, the problem DR. sucked all my fat out and I walked out with no puffs but terribly saggy under eye skin. Im desperate to get it fixed. :bouncing:

I haven't personally used Dr. Marten in San Francisco, but have met several woman that have. They look fantastic and he has taken years off their age. He does fat grafting to bring the youth back to your face. Very pricey so be prepared. Also if you just need a filler under your eyes, you might want to go see Dr. Gail Humble, I believe she's down in the L.A. area, I thinks she may be a dermatologist, but is suppose to be great at fillers.

I had surgery by him and he did a TERRIBLE job. And he redid and is still terrible. he has ruined my life. Save yourself heartache. And even with other doctors saying he did a lousy job, he refuses to acknowlege it. He says i healed badly.

Sfkat, other than rhinoplasty, I have never heard negative reviews about Dr. Marten. Could you please share what type of surgery you had and what specifically went wrong. Thank you for sharing.

It sounds like to do need some fill below the eyes to puff out
the wrinkles below your eyes. I have the same problem. I
tried Goldberg at UCLA for Restylane injections. It worked
great, but took about 10 days for bruising to go away and the
injections lasted about 6 months.
The main problem that I have heard
with even the best fat injection/grafting people is the tendency
for lumpiness or a "claylike" effect. You may see a few photos of people that they have performed this on that have turned out good, but Goldberg
used to do the fat grafting and switched to doing Restylane
because of a too high an incidence of unhappiness. The wrinkles
are also unlikely to go away with fat grafting (LIPOSTRUCTURE) especially if the total volume needed is significant. Remember,
the skin underneath your eyes is very thin. The fat injections(graft)
includes blood, solution, and causes edema. All of this has a
tendency to stretch out the skin. This has been my experience.
There is one other procedure to consider where more than a minor
amount of fat is needed to fill. Jelks in NYC does a
procedure where he actually cuts out fat from the groin area
and implants fat stips through a narrow cut in the inside of
your eyes. This has a better chance of filling out the wrinkles since
the amount of fat that is retained is pretty good. I dont know who does this in CA.
