I have an ingrown hair on my bikini line, and it's driving me nuts! Does anyone know of any good tips to get it out?

I had one once and it wasn't pretty. It got very swollen and purple. My doctor suggested hot compresses until it either grew out or the swelling went down.
GOOD LUCK :)

HI,
i get these sometimes on my bikini line and sometimes my legs, i think it is from waxing, anyway when i first started waxing i used to get it done in the salon and they would just pluck the ingrown hairs out.

This is now what i do: make sure your tweezers is clean and then kind of scrape over the skin on top of the hair, then you will be visiably be able to see the hair (should be outside the skin at this stage) then just pull it out.

I have had to do this MANY times and have never hurt myself doing it whereas if you leave it in there it can become sore.

I do the same with my tweezers. In the future, use a bit of facial scrub on the area that you shave/wax in the bikini area. I do it everytime I shower. It gets rid of the dead stuff so ingrown hairs is less likely.
