How can a doc tell if you have scar tissue? Does it show up on MRI or ct scan?

I don't think so... Not unless it forms some mass big enough to be seen in one of those. I think they would more or less have to go in. I know my gyno says I have scar tissue and she has never officially diagnosed it... she is just assuming considering the amoutn of endometriosis I have and have had laser off etc... I'm not sure how they OFFICIALLY dianose it...

I know as far as my back surgery, that they could tell where there was scar tissue, by injecting me with a dye than doing the Mri. Thus revealing the scar tissue encasing the S1 nerve. I believe the dye, or contrast shows as real dark areas on the Mri. Glenn
