Has any one heard of a dentist who practices holistic dentistry and takes the help of a phychic along the way?

I have chronic perio and I was asked to see this dentist by my naturopathic doctor. He suggested, if I want to, to give a call to a particular psychic, who works with him, before hand.

Any insights are appreciated.

The ONLY person I would see for perio work is a periodontist. I've never heard of a holistic dentist. What part does the physic play????

I would be very, very careful of going to someone like this and urge you to check him/her out with the dental association in your city.

Sounds like hocus pocus to me, a scam. Don't do it, you might end up worse.

I think he takes insights into our constitution with her help. She, apparently, is very good at understanding the root cause of our health problems.

That's how I felt initially. Since I will not be getting any procedures done, I thought may be I would give this a shot (only after verifying his credentials though)

He is a real doctor (periodontist). :) Anyway, I have a regular periodontist that i go to this is just another opinion I was thinking of taking.

Hmm.. not sure about that (unless I make a visit and come to know something fishy). There is another dentist, who never suggested any such thing, screwed up my tooth. HER, I am definetly going to..

Sorry for the late reply. I was not sure myself so I had to wait.

This person seems to be a spiritual healer who can assess the dental problems and its origin by looking at the xray. I have to get a full mouth xray and send it to her. It is upto us to follow or not follow her advice. The dentist is a regular periodontist and he will follow our decision. (Whatever we choose to do after talking to her). This whole thing is costing me 300 dollars so I am not sure if I want to go for it. I am still thinking..
