I had a CT done on the abdomen to further investigate some burnining sensations I've been having in my upper stomach area. The CT results showed three small lesions on my liver which doc wanted to futher investigate with an MRI. The MRI results were emailed to me stating everything looked fine and they were benign areas called HEMANGIOMAs - what is this? Are they tumors, cysts, blook vessles? Has anybody ever had these - is it something to be concerned about. I've been waiting for a call back from my docs office to further explain things to me. He's taking MUCH longer to get back to me than what I expected ! Thanks.
