my dh had been urinating blood in oct and it did go away but theyve run a battery of tests on him and everything came back great (thank God) but he just went and had a scope done and they said that was good but the ultrasound may have shown a cycst on his kidney but the urologist said it is nothing at all to be worried about. is this common and now what?

hi,
kidney cysts are a fairly common (frequency increases with age) thing.
when they are simple cysts (which i am assuming hubbys were) they are usually not a worry to the dr.
when they are complex, or multiocular, they grow more concerned.
most cysts are benign though.
i am sorry hubby is going through so much.

The above poster is right.by adulthood the majority of the population will probably have at least one or two "common' cysts.nothing really out of norm.Your hubbys probably just bled a bit thats all.Marcia
