Hi there, I havent posted in this topic before,
I am 18 and me and my partner have been trying to concieve for 6 months now and I am getting a little worried, I am still waiting for A/F this month, due on sunday, so not long to go now. We have had sex on all my fertile days and this month also on ovulation day, so I'm trying to think positive! If we haven't succeded do you think I should see my gyn or GP, ovarian cancer runs in my family, so maybe I should get it checked?
Any advice would be great,

hi,
i am 20 and trying for a baby at the moment, we have only started trying in the last 2 weeks! anyway what i do know is that when you are trying for a baby if you are un successsfull after 12 months then it is time to see a doctor.
so on that side of things i would give it another 6 months if i were you.
However if you are concerned about overain cancer then you should see the doctor and ask to be tested for the cancer..maybe while there just drop it in about ttc and i am sure you will be told the same thing..
Are you trying any ttc tips at the moment or have any that you have heard work?

Thanks for replying.
I have been following a more healthy diet, and I have also been eating alot more meat, (fish etc...) I have also cut out ALL alcohol, smoking, tea and coffee! If you want to find out about ways that can/may help why dont you do a google search, i'm sure you will find plenty of info.
I hope you have some luck in '2006'!
I will let you all know the out come on Sunday-(if A/F comes).

Well today is Sunday and A/F hasn't arrived! I have had no symptoms of her showing either. I'm not going to build my hopes up as it is still early yet, I have a doctors appt on tuesday so I will find out then.
Me and my partner are getting really nervous now.
I will let you know the outcome and if A/F arrives.

Well, thought that I would pop back and let you all know that A/F showed up 1 day late but she showed :( We were both devestated, we spent half the day in tears, still we will keep on trying, not giving up just yet :(

Hi to all again,
Just leaving my monthly update, still TTC and A/F is due today, no sign, I have been experiencing upper and lower back ache and I have felt a little more hungry than usual? I have also had an achey stomach feels like I have been doing sit ups. My moods are awful too!
I am scared to go to the loo just incase she arrives!!
Also I know that this is TMI but it makes me feel sick when my B/F touches my nipples?
Anyways, if anyone could let me know if any others have experienced or heard of any of these let me know. All replys welcome.

Well, it sounds like you are having alot of symptoms. Please keep us informed. Hopefully that unwelcome AF will show up!

Are you TTC? I am so excited I cant sleep, I am absolutely exhausted but no joy! I really want to know, getting tired of being so heart broken and dissapointed every month. I have been trying since aug 05! Anyhow there are worse off couples out there that have been TTC for years.
If the unwanted A/F dosen't show up I will spread my baby dust through this board!

We are TTC our second now. It took 6 months for our first and now we are in month # 4 of TTC our 2nd

Yeah I read through the threads and some people have been trying for years, that would totally tip me over, I have found it hard enough over 6 months thats 5 dissapointing months and a MC :( The support and encouragment on this topic is fab though.

Well that unwanted A/F showed up last night :(
I am absolutely guted, still, wont give up yet.
It is starting to get very tedius now though.
Anyway lets hope this month is a good one to you lot!

I am sorry that AF showed up, that is really disapointing. :( Don't give up! Are you doing OPKS or tracking temps? OPKs have helped me out. Try to have funn trying next month and a load of baby dust your way!
