I would appreciate any information that might be helpful to someone who needs a hysterectomy after having breast cancer, who's tumor was estrogen fead and I would like to know what would help me through menopause without taking horomones. I have just turned 40. PLEASE REPLY, anything helps. Thank you.

I will be having a hystserectomy after my chemo is finished (I'm 28). I am currently on a drug called Lupron that has shut down my ovaries so I have the symptoms of menopause now. There is a drug called Gabapentin that helps the hot flashes. There are also drugs to reduce bone loss due to osteoperosis. Best of luck to you!
