My cousin's husband is in end stage kidney disease and on dialysis three times per week. He is wondering if it's normal to have blood in his sperm, difficulty maintaining an erection and no libido. He and his wife are both starting to get very concerned about this. Obviously it's affecting their relationship but they're not certain what to do about it.

Is this a common problem? Is there anything that they can do about it? What would be causing these things?

His dr did a prostate exam and although it seems normal he may send him for an ultrasound. His dr isn't sure if it's from the kidney disease and dialysis or not.
