I just recently had surgery on 01-05-06 (my Tummy Tuck/Muscle Repair/ Lipo of the hips and back) and believe me it is no hay ride. I do have alot of swelling and bruising and I still have my drains which I hate but it is a must to have them. I am sore and I am now walking straighter then before but can't wait till I see the end results.
Everyone is different and I knew that I wouldn't be healed in a week, it takes time and patience and you have to follow what your PS tells you. You will have the swelling for possible 3 or even upto 6 months like I said everyone is different. This is a major surgery, I had surgery on a Thursday, I felt like crap the first few days, and you will have to have someone stay home with you (about a week) to take care of you but now I am feeling alot better just the heaviest when standing, I do have to stay off of my feet because of the swelling, which that is suggested by any PS. So if I can answer any questions just let me know, I will do my best to do so.
