I dont know why, and ive never been diagnosed with anything, but i have a very weak imune system, i catch Everything, and half of it isnt even contagous! (i.e. tonsilitus) nothing showed up in bloodwork.. i wish i could figure out whats wrong with my immune system.

but i was sick during my period, a month or two ago, which made my immune system act practically non-existant, and i started getting oral thrush, without realizeing it of course.. i thought it was a million other things first, but finally, im sure, its oral thrush. is on my toung in a thin sort od coat, and on one of my tonsils, and i think its in my throat too (i cant see it down there, but i feel it)

i read taht it can have horrid complications or even be fatal for people with immune defficiencies, so im worried! i cought it a month or two after it started forming.. but its already spread to my asophpgus,

what sort of immune problem could i have, and did i cetch the thrush in time or should i be worried?

I'm also starting to worry i could have lupus after reading alotof articles on it.. people with lupus get sick all the time but sometimes nothing showss up in testing, just liek for me, i get awful mouth olscars all the time, too

Candida Albican. All the doctors can see this! Your tongue is coated? White spots on throat? Burning poop? I do not know who you have seen, but I would suggest a Gastroenterologist docor. They can see it and they can swab it and test it, even under a microscope. Research Candida I think it will help you soooo much!!!

Plus Oral thrush HURTS. Have you diagnosed this yourself? A White, cottage cheese looking layer that can be scraped off? Sometimes the natural bacteria on your tongue can appear like a slimy white coating, especially if you look for it. I know. Anyway, you can't self diagnose it, so dont try :)

Hi Iyami,
Wow, it's really important that you don't self-diagnose. If everything in your bloodwork appears normal and your family doc is not recommending you see a specialist then there's most likely nothing life threatening wrong with you. Some people just get sick alot 'cause it's in their makeup. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune problem last year (in remission now) and hardly ever got sick before or after. Once you get this problem treated and behind you I would suggest considering starting with vitamins to boost your immune system. My daughter used to get sick at the drop of a hat. She now gets the flu shot annually and takes a good daily multivitamin. "knock wood" she hasn't been sick in over a year!!!!
