View Full Version : possible wrong diagnosis

I am currently being treated for a panic disorder but for some reason I tend to believe that I am being misdiagnosed. After reading the posts on this site I think I might be dealing with panic attacks brought on by OCD.
When I have an attack it stems from the fear of being possessed by the devil(of all things!)
I know in my mind that this is not what is happening but just a simply unexpected sound or seeing something out of the corner of my eye that startles me can put me into a fairly bad PA.
This usually happens only at night, however if I am caught off guard by something during the day then I can have a mild attack then.
Does anyone else deal with this type of thing? I would love to hear other stories like mine and any advise on how to overcome this or at least control it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance! ;)
