i have had daily dizziness for a couple years, but in the last 6 months i have had episodes of head pressure, ear pressure, sometimes nausea, and real spacy disoriented feeling. it seems to have gotten worse lately, but i also noticed that it was worse through the winter last year too. i never really get headache pain, but just pressure. my dizziness and pressure get better when i lie down, and is always worse in stores and stuff. it is also worsened by lots of movement, and lots of times seems worse in the morning until after lunch. i also have some problem with my vision where things shimmer or jitter, and that is almost always there, but fluctuates in its intensity, and goes away when i cover either eye. i have been diagnosed of course with GAD, and have had past depression problems. i work in a noisy, bright shop and have some stress, so maybe that is making it worse, but even when i am home and have no stress at all it is there still. one more wierd thing is that the dizziness and pressure gets a bit better when i wear earplugs at work, but as soon as i take them out, it gets worse again. any help would be nice.

Absolutely. Those visual issues are very specific to central disease like migraine rather than any peripheral disorder.

I have the same phenomenon - looking up at a blue sky when I am walking the dog in the early evening is quite disconcerting as it looks like its snowing (lots of small twinkling dots moving in my vision).

i get that - or looking at white backgrounds - like tiny sparkles that move tiny measures.
