Hello, I'm a 25 year old woman and I have had a headache everyday for two years. My dad had headaches daily also and I was wondering if this is genetic? Also, I have a new type of head pain that has been going on for a week now... it started out on the right side of my head... all over the right side. It wasn't a strong pain, just enough to really bother me. However, now it has moved to the top of my head on the right side, and sometimes the pressure feels like something wants to pop out of my head, and my ear hurts. Sinus medicine and regular headache medicine will not touch the pain. Sometimes the pain is a sharp pain and feels very strong and then it will go back to being a low grade pain. I am just a little worried about a possible brain aneurysm. I am also tired of having a daily headache, maybe someone can help me.

Have you seen a neurologist who specilizes in heachache treatment? If not, I would do that ASAP. If you have a primary care physician, ask for a referral. If not, ask friends until you find one. Or look for a headache clinic in your area -- resort to the phone book if you have to. Do you have sinus problems? If so, I would also consider an evaluation by an ENT.

I get the same thing but on the left side. I was worried that I had a tumor or something terrible but if I did (and you as well) I don't think we would be getting on as well as we are, especially you after 2 years! My mom thinks I have migraines. Some days are really good and others really bad. This has been going on for 5 months now. I haven't seen a doctor yet. I HATE doctors. And some days when they are really good, I think I'm getting better and can go on and have a good week and then have a bad day again. So I dont really know what to do.
Let me know what happens if you see a doctor. Good luck :)
