Hello everyone,
This is my first post on this board, hoping someone can help.
Summer of 2005, I was having strange symptoms, alot of pressure in upper abdomen and up around heart, very uncomfortable. I went to ER, and my alt was 600 and ast was 500, I was admitted and within a week they were down to normal, at that time they thought it was a anti inflammatory medicine I was taking. Then about 3 weeks ago I had the same symptoms along with sore muscles nausia, and just feeling terrible, and they were up to 1200 and 1000. Both times they said I didn't have viral hepatitis, and both times they did a ultrasound, and was normal. This last time they also did a ANA test and said it was elevated slightly, but not to worry. My enzymes have come down again without changing anything, but I still have this pressure with some pain. I am so worried. I wish they would just do a biopsey and see if things are ok. I am 68 years old, and I am a diabetic, and other health issues.
Any help or advise would be appreciated.
