Hi, I'm male young but 18+ and have done it once almost a year ago. Thats it end of story and that was for all of 3 seconds (not fun :( ) Anyway...thats the background

I've had what I thought were some jock itch spots for a while now, at least almost a month. They were\are a few on my left thigh almost to the inner portion. Today I noticed double or more bumps with slight reddishness to them (but not extremely inflamed or anything). I'd been treating the original bumps with spray on antifungal from the drugstore for almost 2 weeks before I recently stopped, as they say you should after a certain time period.

Yesterday I thought there was an unrelated bumpy thing on my abdomen\belt-line and squeezed it. There was sort of a spongy white puss ball thing, very small that came out and the site bleeded a lot for such a small bump, nothing like a pimple would!

Today again I found more and thought I'd pop them and they emmited the same spongy intact "stuff". Now since I've never been sexually active but once (with a condom, a damn thick one) I don't know what I could have but it doesnt seem to respond much to the spray...

Also I did shave my groin recently, if that might help? Perhaps I cut something and got infected?

**also concern comes because I found one or two spots right on the border to my scrotum.

And seeing std pictures will scare the crap out of anyone...

(and I just recently had a check for a hernia and had bloodwork taken...I don't know if they usually test for "everything" including std's with those blood samples but they were just done and nothing reported suspicious...)

I'm guessing it could be molluscum? just googled a few things after reading one of the molluscum threads. So its a member of the "pox" family? I just started using antifungal again, I'm wondering if I should even bother :\

Request for a herpes test. it could also be folliculitus. But if you have them on the scrotum unless you shaved it too, I think it could be herpes. Are the bumps painful sore? I hope your diagnosis is good. Herpes is a life long partner. Don't be discouraged you will be fine

yea I shaved there too, but its not really on the scrotum, just on the border where its actually very thick. I read that herpes don't have those "cores" and arent raised, which these certainly are. None have come back from popping them two days ago and no new ones either. Been blasting away with lots of iodine.

They werent painful at all until popped, and then only a little. Will request though.

To my knowledge, herpes looks more like open sores and dont react the way you described. You may have irritated some hair follicles when you shaved, but the best way to find out for sure is to see the doc.

well heres the thing, none of the spots are in\on hair "pits" or the openings in the skin. I'm guessing that rules out follicle infections?

Also so far I've only found one decent sized spot on my perenium which is awkward to find so I probably just missed it from before. And two or three tiny tiny spots that werent really red at all but had a tiny white spot and after being squeezed out came a baby bit of the familiar waxy stuff.

Since then no more spots, though I check like crazy all the time (hard when you have even a little hair) but I definitely itch more than normal now. Could just be skin healing though?
