Over the last 3 months..I have developed burning (and sometimes pain) in my fingers and toes - sometimes also on my sole and heel which makes it difficult for me to walk.
I don't know how I got it...I have been tested for practically everything...and nothing was abnormal (though I do have some indigestion issues)....I am also not diabetic.
As for the cure, I dont know what to try. I have been taking B12 (the methyl version) for the last 2 months and I don't think that has helped.
I want to hear from people whose neuropathies were successfully cured and what they used for it.
Pls, I am at my wits end.

I had burning sensations in my feet beginning about 7 years ago, never thought too much about it. I probably had the beginning stages of diabetes. Last year I developed Septic Shock(deep cleaning at dentist) from not knowing I was diabetic. I nearly died, spent 2 months in the hospital and now I am into my 10th month of rehab. due to severe heel and buttock ulcers from being in a bed for so long. Also, I developed severe nerve damage from the extremely high blood sugars(1165) and the meds.(levophed and Xigris) that kept me alive through the Septic Shock.
They started me on other meds. for the burning/numbness in my feet and toes. It relieved the pain, but it wasn't a cure. I found a physical therapist who specializes in Anodyne therapy. My left foot is now 90% better after 6 weeks of treatments and my right foot is at 60%, but it was much more damaged.
I hear Anodyne therapy is doing wonders for many patients, not just diabetics. Good Luck!
