Hi all

Very sorry I haven't posted for a long time..... been without a system! Just an update on my dad - colon cancer with secondary to liver and lungs, diagnosed just over a year ago. has a stoma bag, and is on his second round of chemo, first lot was Ox and 5FU....this time it is Capecitabine & Irinotecan...I think and has about 4 cycles left.....

Today he had the results of his scan and they show that two of the tumours have grown and a few more spots are showing up also his cancer protein has gone up by about 50...in a week!
They have decided to put him on Monoclonal antibodies along with his chemo to help his body fight it...... I was really hoping for good news.... he looks really good.... so hard to see him in high spirits one minute and crushed the next...... I guess we are all hoping for an over night miracle which I know most of you can tell me unfortunately doesn't happen!

Sorry to rant on, but i got this news and just need to vent to people who understand!!!
