Once or twice a year the area directly below my eyes starts twitching for a few days and then goes away. Usually just one eye does this, not both. Does anyone know what causes this. I wear contacts, however I wear glasses to give my eyes a rest but this does not stop the twitching. Is this possibly a vitamin deficiency of some sort. Getting extra sleep does not solve the problem. thanks.

The most common diagnosis is stress.

Im not positive, but im pretty sure thats usually caused by stress.

But then again, i had it a few months ago and i remember myself being a pretty happy person during that time. So hey, who knows, im probably wrong.
