Hi Everyone! I just started enzyme therapy on our 2 year old. The very next day he broke out with what looks like excema on his face. His skin is very dry. I wonder if the enzymes are helping or not. His BM's are better but he still has a red bottom. He does not stim as much and his eyes don't look as "dark". He has been on the gluten/casein free diet for 3 months now and I find that it has helped his bowels. Anyway, is anyone else experimenting with enzymes and has anyone had any success? Any advice would be awesome!! Thanks!
By the way, I've been giving him digestive enzymes, probiotics, calcium, magnesium and zinc, and a multi-vitamin. Any infraction on his gf/cf diet and his ears turn bright red and splotchy, he becomes agitated, and stims as if he is itchy. I think I'm finally onto something here--in the great state of Idaho--where no one will diagnose our sons!! Sorry-I should have kept that last part to myself--It's just so frustrating...
