Last week it happened to me twice. I was sitting down talking to a friend of mine and then I got realy dizzy. Then I could not understand what my friend was saying. I knew that she was talking but it was like it took along time to sink in. The left side of my face and my ear went numb and felt tight. Then the pins and needles in my lip and by the side of my nose. Then it went to my hand all on the left side. Then it just went away. It lasted for about 30 minutes. I never did get the headache first or last. I am glad about that because my twin sister gets then with the headache. I seen her suffer through this for many years. I went to the doctor this week and he told me that it was migraines. I was a bit worried too because I also have high blood pressure. I though that it had gone up realy high. It was high but not enough to cause these problems.

I read here and on other web sites that some blood pressure medicationscan help prevent migraines. I was on ACE inhibitors this past week when I had this happen to me. Now I am also on Calcium Channel Blookers. I was wondering if they will help them to stop. Which high blood pressure medications are suppose to work?
