I know that guys need to be careful about too much heat in the groin area while TTC since it can kill off the little guys, but what about us women? Is it dangerous (or foolhardy) to use a laptop while TTC? I tend to use my laptop computer while lying on the couch, and sometimes it's resting on my abdomen ("abdomentop"??). I started thinking about this... could the slight increase in temperature effect ovulation? or implantation? I'm in a 2WW right now, so I try to remember to move it down a little so it's actually on my lap, but sometimes I forget. Do you think this could be a problem? Anyone else thought about this??

No. Just don't have really hot baths or hot tubs in the two weeks after ovulation, just in case you're pregnant. Increasing the body temp. can have a negative impact on the fetus.

Lap tops generate some radiation, which can decrease fertility in both genders. I would put it on a table if I were you. I bought a great laptop table called Table Mate II. It really works well for using a lap top on the couch.
