Also, is skin chewing (fingers) and picking at scabs wellt he same one for many years any thing related to OCD? i cant fine any other way to explain it

I do both, and I'm the biggest obsessive-compulsive you'll ever meet, so yeah! lol! :D I find it interesting that you said that you've picked at the same scab for years- I've never heard anyone else say that, but that's EXACTLY what I do! I had one that I picked for nearly two years on my scalp, and then it somehow healed and become two new places on my scalp that I've been picking for a year... ;)

I read that skin picking is related to ocd. It is in the same class as hair plucking. I have done it forever. At first it is like I am meditating and then when I see what I have done I get pissed off. When my arms get bad I tell people the wounds are from the blackberries patch I cleared out the other day.

Skin Picking is in the Spectrum of OCD. I do it a lot when I am anxious, and I just can't stop until it's "Done" ......

"done"...explains it exactly. I have to go to "completion", which always means I have ripped another dang hole in my friggin' arm.
