Hi ladies!
Well in mid-march I am going to florida and probably mexico for 6 days. What turned from a trip to go see my sister with the kids has turned into a full blown cruise w/o the kids (DH doesn't want them to go).
I have been barely nursing for about a month now. All of the sudden she has been doing it way more frequently. I went to work yesterday and felt like I was going to explode  . I haven't even pumped on 8 hour days at work and sometimes wake up feeling empty. But this morning my shirt was wet. I really thought she was going to wean herself and I wouldn't have to pump.Has anyone been away from their nursing baby for a week and come home to everything like it was before? Anyone ever pump on a cruise ship? If so what did you use to clean it for your next use?Anyone make it a week without thier kids and not cry because I am getting upset and I still have like 6 weeks before my trip.

I wouldn't go a week without pumping and/or nursing. My milk supply decreases after only a day... you may be different but I wouldn't chance it. If you are going to pump on the cruise I would purchase "steamer bags" for your breast pump equipment. I think Medela makes some, they are basically bags that you can put the equipment in after rinsing, microwave and cha-ching... it's all sterilized.

Last time I went there was no microwave available. Do I need to keep it sterile if I am dumping it out. I have seen disposable dishwipes with the soap built in. Maybe i could just wash it in our sink.
