View Full Version : Want to learn acrobatics/condition body....

Okay, I'm most likely going to ramble a bit. Hopefully you can piece it together ;). I've been watchin' a lot of aerial acrobatic films and such and I want to eventually be able to do such things. As well I'd like to learn how to be more aware of my body such as in common acrobatics and such. I know there's going to be some conditioning that needs to be done. ie being able to hold your wieght on your hands(stand on your hands) and eventually being able to use either hand to hold my weight, but not necessarily for an extended period of time.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I want to increase my overall fitness, make myself more aware of my body and get healthier in the process. I don't know what type of diet regimen I should be on or what types of cardio I should do to tone up my body a bit. I would really appreciate some insight on this. My overall goal is to be able to do the aerial acrobatics that I'm into watchin' some call it extreme jumping, street jumping, whatever. But I feel I need to start here with this and I think these boards are a good place to get me off in the right direction. Thank you.
