Hey! My wheelchair has arrived AGAIN 3 weeks to the day after I tried to send it back for good! WOW! I never thought I'd say it is a relief to have my old buddy back and take the load off my good foot!!! I figured I would never last the next 5 weeks (minimum) and already I'm relieved...sad but relieved!

Wtwct, I will be travelling in mid Feb so I will test out what I told you about having the wheelchair the whole trip. I'll let you know what i encounter and whether there are any difficulties. That is still a few weeks off but I am supposed to be flying 2 weekends in a row (2 round trips) so we'll see how that works out. GOOD LUCK tomorrow...I'll be thinking of you!

(((Sophie))) 5 more weeks, huh? I'm sorry you have to be NWB again for so long. :( Glad you got the wheelchair back, though. I returned mine the other day, and was so glad to see it go - but definitely thankful that I was able to use one while I needed it!

I hope your bone stimulator gets approved SOON!

JD, NOPE! I thought originally 5 more weeks but it now appears that is just the start. Now they say slight possibility of 8 weeks but count on 10-12 weeks. I wasn't very happy at all yesterday! Sophie :angel:

WOW, I am so sorry. That is just like starting over again. 10-12 weeks! Lets hope that you heal sooner than that. Yes, I am interested about hearing about the wheel chair and trips, I mean how it works.

JD - you must feel much better. Are you full WB now?

Thanks everyone for all your understanding and support. I will let you know what happens today. I cannot believe my surgery is not until 1:00. NO COFFEE. I live off of coffee.
