My DS has a blue vein across the bridge of his nose since he was
born. His doctor told me it will eventually fade but he's six months now
and it hasn't faded at all. A co-worker's daughter had this at birth too.
She's 7 years old now and it's still very slightly visable. I was wondering if anyone else has this on their baby or knows anything about it.

I'm not too sure about when they are supposed to fade, but my 3 year old nephew has one one his left temple, some days its more prominent than others. The Dr. told my sis it's "like" a birthmark and should become less noticable :)

DS has one of those as well. I didn't know it was a thing to think about. lol I've never asked about it and they've never said anything so I just assumed it was okay. I had no idea it was a common thing.

I just thought about this today. DS has one on his nose too. Good thing someone asked about it.

DD has one as well on the side of her nose. At almost 11 months it is statring to fade. Some days I notice it more than others. She also has the one on her temple.

Thats so funny, I always wonder about that vein but keep forgetting to ask Dr. It must be very common cuz my DS has the same one on the nose.

My DD has a large vein across the bridge of her nose too....she si almost one year old and I still see it, but not as prominent as when she was younger...I hope it will fade in time as she gets older.
