I suppose I am about to become the unluckiest guy in the whole world. Exactly about 4 weeks and 3 days ago I had sex with another male. I am male 24 yo. The following happened: we deep kissed, I received oral sex and we engaged in protected anal sex where I was the insertive partner. I also fingered him. Except for kissing (one case reported in the U.S to date) notice that I only engaged in extremely low risk activity. There has been no reported cases of HIV infection through receiving oral sex, protected intercourse or fingering. 4 weeks and 3 days after that night I developed the following: generalized lymphodenopathy (painful lymph nodes all over my body) , fever, headache and a sorethroat. ALL which are symptoms of primary HIV infection within the 2-4 week window period for incubation. I will get tested on next tueday (5 weeks after possible exposure which means the results will be inconclusive) so I could rest my mind for a while in case I am negative. I will tell you this though...my case , if I am infected, will be for the books. I hope the CDC will report it to the media so people will realize that they can get infected even by low risk activities. I will keep you guys posted.
