Hi,

Do you guys think I would suffer any symptoms if I went from 60mg to 40mgs for a few days?
Insurance won't let pharmacy refill my script until Saturday..but it being a weekend ( I don't drive) I won't be able to get it until Monday.

It should be alright, right? Prozac has long half life.

Thanks,
Delphi

Delphi, I know this is a little late, sorry, but you're exactly right, prozac does have a long half life and you probally won't even notice it for just a few days.

Sometimes with my pain meds I have to ask for a few days worth until my insurance company will cover it. It is not usually a problem, other than the minor embarrassment of not being covered and having to ask for a few days worth, but it never killed me and I live in a very small town. Am on first name basis with only pharmacist in town.

Thanks so much, Buck, Chrys and Luana http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gifI had to do that for

Well, Me and shrink figured it out. I had to stick with two for a few weeks, as my prescription read: "2 to 3 a day"

Shrink solved problem( we hope!)by writing a new prescript that reads " 3 in the am".

thaks for responding and please cross you fingers for me, 'cause two a day does not cut it.

Love,
Delphi
