hi new to this thread maybe I am in the right place not sure
It started about 4 to 5 months ago with dul sharp,stabbing,stinging random pains in limbs and a bit of quick sharp pains in my chest and neck but now it is sticking to my left arm ,hand,and shoulder I have been to the ER had testing done for my heart doctor there said he doesnt think its my heart but he wants me to have a stress test so that should be comming up soon.
I saw my reg doctor she agrees with the er doc that the symptoms are not typical for heart but have the stress test to make sure and if that is fine then she wants to look into neurological causes with nerves and stuff mentioned a EMG test.......well now im having numbness in the left side of my face ugh
The pains and numbness come and go doesnt seem to have any particular pattern it is so weird to me how I can feel these pains and even feel my elbow like its hurt or something and then a few mins later I feel fperfectly fine all over .........puzzling to me
anyway anyone else know what I mean here?

My god we all sound alike...:( That is what just happend to me and they said its my GERD, but the numbness and pains in the legs, arms, neck, face are driving me up a wall, just stared 2 weeks ago...I see my GP on the 6th, hopefully we all can get some answers...
I wish you luck, try a heating pad that has helped me at night...

I have idiopathic peripheral neuropathy...but not GERD...and I'm having to see a cardiologist tomorrow to see why I have tachycardia...and if it's related.
I know from what I read tachycardia (fast pulse) can be related to nerves in your body...

I have had a holter monitor test for 2 days my results were several premature contractions but "nothing to be concerned over" I dont get the racing heart just the flutters.skips.quiver type things.Which has settled way down the last couple months
My main concern is these little pains and numb left side of face etc
Curious I saw your post on the heart condition board I take it you havent had a holter monitor before? they are simple like an extended ekg you get this (ususaly small) box computer thing hooks to the waist of your pants with wire leads that hook to electrodes and onto your chest area you may have it on for 24 hour or up to 30 days it will just be constantly recording your heart rythm the only pain involved which isnt too bad will be when you take the electrodes off I pulled them off as fast I could lessoned the length of pain or you could jump in the shower and soap them up good and then pull them off.
I am tired of these symptoms I guess I should be glad they really are not painful though just irritating and worrisome.One of these days maybe I will find out what the heck is wrong with me maybe we all will

Wouldn't it be nice to get this all fixed and be back to the way we used to be?
My problem is that I get dizzy and sometimes pass out due to my pulse...

oh wow ive passed out too 5 times in the last 12 yrs all blamed on the ole "anxiety/stress" actualy that was the first thing to happen to me that was blamed on anxiety and stress and it went downhill from there some ups but I always end up back down .....before id go out I even told them it felt like my heart drops or stops
