Hi for one week today I have had the worse headache and pain behind my right eye . I went to the dr . NO sinus infection . He was concerned about the pain behind my eye .
Now I am scared because i have done web searches and it could be a million things .
Lupus . MS etc .
I have done and taken everything for it .
I cant help but think its related to my sinus so can it be a sinus headache ? I guess i am asking if you can have a sinus headache with no infection ?
The pain and throbbing is driving me nuts ! everytime I bend over .. WAM
yeh I know DONT bend over ~ hahaha

Hey, get an MRI and a Cat Scan. I have been experiencing roughly the same problems for almost a year now. They thought it was dry eye syndrome, then they thought it was migraines or clusters, now they think it could be trigeminal neuralgia. I have pain, sometimes burning, lightning stabs etc in ONLY my left eye. Right eye is fine, and my eyes technically have no problems. I am still trying to figure this out.
Good luck...you are not alone.

I think you might have sinus headaches as I have had pain only in my left eye right behind it and sometimes in the temple area and the front of my forhead when I bend over...lol and I have NO SINUS INFECTION either.

I have a deviated left septum though which is a narrow nose bone thingy which means when I have something irritate my airways I can get an infection very easily and sometimes fluid builds up in there and releases very slowly which then gives me....you guessed it headaches/migraines depending on the amount of fluid build up.

Went and had an eye test also and nothing is wrong with my eyes, the optometrist actually said I could fly an F-18 my eyes are that good.

My suggestion to you would be to go to an ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist and get an expert opinion from them, most normal doctors just guess....they might as well be back in medical school.

For the pain take ADVIL or Nurofen and try some steam baths with VICKS or menthol oil or any chest rub used to treat colds to help with any congestion.

If there is no congestion just try to drink lots of water, rest in a dark room with feet elevated and put a cool or warm flannel/washer on the eye/forehead....wherever the pain is.

Hope you feel better soon.

hope this info helps and keep us all posted! :bouncing:
