 Hi everyone,
I was wondering if any of you have tried one of those at home tests that you send in annoymously?

I have been thinking about purchasing one because I know that I am high risk for being positive. I thought I would try the home test before getting tested at the doctor's office. I figure if the at home test was to come up positive it would give me a little more time to prepare myself emotionally for what I will have to deal with once I go to the doc.

Anyway I was just curious. Thanks.

Hi,

The first HIV test I got was from the HOME ACCESS test that you can get at your local pharmacy and that is FDA approved... Make SURE it's FDA approved. DON'T BUY ANY TEST FROM THE INTERNET!. I made this huge mistake 5 years ago. I had my ex tested with a home test made by a canadian company called SEVILLE marketing and I found out 4 years later that the company was sued and that The Traders Commision in the USA recalled all the test materials sold in the US thru the internet. I was going to die when I found out this info.... I wanted to die... It took me 4 years of daily anxiety, nighmares, obsessions, paxil, lexapro etc... to get the courage to get tested. I did get tested with the HOME ACCESS which is approved by the FDA. I was (OF COURSE) negative. Then I re-tested again in the Doc's office 2 months later (Just to make sure).

The Home Access is really easy to use and you can have the results in a few days... but don't wait any longer... don't make the same mistake I did... as I was consummed with anxiety for 4 years....

Good luck,

Gab
