Hello. Could you please tell me your daily dose and of course if it's helping in your weight loss? I'm trying to see how high peoples' dosages are per day.
It helped tremendously in mine until I had to go on an A.D. for depression. I am so discouraged. Maybe my dose of Topamax is too low to fight the A.D. I just don't know.
I really wish I could get some ideas, feedback, etc.

I take Topamax for depression and mania both because I have BPD. I've been on Topamax since 2002. When I first started taking the drug I didn't initially lose weight until the dosage was at 100 mgs. I couldn't figure out why I was losing so much weight. My doctor had me on alert because of a past history of ED, which I had to watch how much weight I lost. Then I had to regain 10 pounds to maintain my weight. Now I'm at the highest weight I've been in years because of another med I have been put on; Abilify. ugh! Oh well.. Can't win them all.
Anyway.... Remember that you have been placed on the medication first of all for depression. And, that is most important.
