I am going Monday for a bil scan...How bad is it? Also, how long before you get the results...Btw, I am 32 and my left breast is sinking in pretty bad when I lift my arm....She said she can't feel any lumps, but she wants a scan anyways....Thanks, Ralinda

I'm glad everything worked out good for you. Is your breast sinking in a sign? I only ask because I have this on one of mine, but I just thought it was from age, weight loss, stretching, etc.

I was told any time you have dimpling contact your doctor, and she waited 1 month, than she ordered the mammagram..They said mine must be just my tissue changing, they did say my tissue is very dense though, and to make sure I do my exam monthly.....They did keep looking at one spot where I have a mole on the left side of my breast and they were doing some measuring, but than they said everything was fine..I would just call your doctor and tell them you have had some change and you are having some dimpling, and let her/him check it out..I didn't even notice the dimpling until I quit nursing 5 month's ago....and I have lost 25 pounds in the last 8 weeks, and this could lead to some of this.....good luck, Ralinda

Hi Ralinda:
I actually just had a yearly exam in January. I think my doctor would have said something if it looked abnormal. I've had it like this for a year or so now. Both breasts are totally normal looking, but they both do it a tiny bit, and it's only when I pull my shoulders back. The top of both nipples sink in a little. I recently had a mammo/ultrasound for what I thought was a lump but wasn't; that's the only reason why I'm not concerned. I was just wondering if it was due to our weight loss? Maybe next time around I will ask my doctor.
