im woundering if anyone can help me..i had hair extentions glued in by a friend who is a hair dresser 3weeks ago only i dont think she done them right, i asked her but she seems to think she has only i looked at some pics on the net and there all glued in in a straight line but mine are all over the place on the back of my head and only on 1 side on my head so when my hair is over my shoulders there is more hair on 1 side than the other!! and at the back u can see all the glue through my hair so everytime i hav gone out iv worn a hat!!! so i tryed taking them out as im not happy with them.. she told me to use nail varnish remover with acetone in it..i was abit worried about using it on my hair but i tryed it anyway.. but nothing happend and there still stuck there!!!! so i asked her again and she is now telling me to use pure acetone.. im abit worried about using this on my hair... can any one tell me how to get them out and also if she did them right or not?!

I just kept easing mine out....Yes, it was painful, but the girl did such a horrible job I wanted them out...I will never have weave glued back into my scalp...If I get them again I will have them fuse the hair to the shafts of my real hair.....I do have a wig that I like if I want to change the style of my hair for awhile and I like it.....Ralinda

No,no, No Do Not Use Acetone!!!!! Is She Crazy???? Go To Sally Beauty Supply If You Have That Store And Get This Oil That Is Specifically Meant To Be Used For Hair Extension Removal!! Oh Gosh!! Its Only 4 Dollars. They Also Have The Shampoo To Remove It. But I Like The Oil Much Better. You Are Going To Ruin Your Hair With The Acetone Which By The Way Is Acid!!!!!! The Oil And Shampoo Is By All The Hair Extension Section. Vegetabel Oil Is Not Strong Enough To Remove It. It Will Take A Very Very Long Time To Remove It With Vegetable Oil. The Oil That I Am Talking About Takes A Shorter Time. You Saturate The Weft With The Oil , Leave It On For About 10 Minutes And Slowly Massage The Wefft Out. I Hope This Helps!

what kind of hair extensions did you get? Strand by strand or did your stylist put them in by tracks? Depending on what method your stylist used and what kind of glue will determine how you're going to remove them.
I'm a stylist so maybe I can help you get them out easier.
