Gerber makes these things called Lil Dippers, they kind of look like those corn cob holders to me, that help baby learn to feed itself. And they are great!
DS does really well with them, they are soft so he can't hurt himself, and big enough that he can't shove them down his throat. It is very very very messy, but it is helping him learn to feed himself. I just wanted to tell ya'll about them, cause when I first saw them I thought, what a dumb idea, then I got a coupon and they only cost me .50 with the coupon so I bought them, and I really like them.

I saw this thread and remembered that I got these for DS. He didn't do so well with them but I broke them out for DD anyway and she loves them!!! She does really well with them too. So if anyone was considering getting them she has a lot of fun.

How old are your kids? When do they start eating on their own?
