I am so worried and no one has replied yet lol. I hope to god the one and only time I did something this stupid doesn't end up coming back to haunt me. I wish I was this paranoid before I did the damn deed. I will never do this again to myself , I just hope I am not infected.

Der Lutheran: Well, breath easier (not to assuage your guilt, of course, but to alleviate some of your health issue anxiety): receptive oral is a considered a no risk issue for HIV. In the history of the pandemic, there appears to be no data linking receptive oral sex with acquisition of the HIV virus. However, it is possible that other STDs could be contracted through this kind of sexual encounter including: gonnohrea, syphillis, and clamydia. (And please, pass the word, that the length of time the encounter took has nothing to do with the possibility of acquiring an STD. There is no rule that says, "more than 15 seconds and you'll get and STD and less than 15 seconds you won't." When you're speeding around the curb and plunge off the mountain it won't matter it you were going 80 miles an hour or 70 miles an hour. You're still going off the mountain.)

I'm not sure what you mean about the three-weeks-before-testing. Generally, the rule for HIV is that you should be tested three months after the encounter to have a confirm result. chris

You're probably right and I think the Orasure is a three month test. You really will be OK, you know. This is just a bump in the road. I have a friend whom I often quote who said: "we never get enough of that which we don't need." How true! How true! Hang in there. chris

My best advice to you is get tested now ( just to make sure you were clear to begin with ) and again at 13 weeks ( 90 days ) and once more at 6 month ( just so the fear doesn't haunt you later on down the soad ) and you think later on ( should I have gotten that 6 month test ? ) a 13 week test has an accuracy of 97% with a normal everyday immune system .
But as far as oral goes it is very very low risk and as long as you're condom stayed intact the you have very little to worry about .
BUT keep in mind that if you have any other risky encounters during you're 13 week window period it will start the wait all over again ..... So stay safe !
And also you should have an std panel done as well just to make sure :)
In good health .........
