Hi. I have had pain for quite a while in the inside elbow and lower arm area when clenching my fist.
Well, the other day, after shovelling snow, I didn't have the usual back pain that most people get. I had something else.
Upon awakening the next morning, my right hand was very sore, especially when gripping something like a cup of coffee. I presume gripping the snow shovel handle was the cause of this. Though I work on a computer at work a lot, I don't think this is CTS because both my wrists seem to be fine. Anti inflammatory drugs like Advil seem to help.
Just wanted to know if anyone else out there has had the symptoms I have described above? I am going to the doctor but I'd just like to see if it's a common thing. I am 56 so arthritis is probably the culprit. Thanks
